St. Leonard / Long Beach

Saint Leonard, Maryland is part of southern Calvert County and stretches from the Chesapeake Bay to the Patuxent River. You can find a wide assortment of different types of properties in this region. From quarter acre lots to several hundred-acre farms.

Going over to the eastern side of Saint Leonard touching the Chesapeake Bay, you’ll find Long Beach, Maryland. This town has a long history that started in the 1930’s. It is built of one large neighborhood with several hundred homesites, along with a dozen other smaller subdivisions. Long Beach also features Flag Harbor, a full-service marina, and private beach access. This neighborhood originally started as a summer cottage get away and has grown into a vibrant year-round community.

When on the western side of Saint Leonard, you’ll find a road called Mackall Road. Off of Mackall Road you’ll find five large communities that have features like playgrounds, walking trails, sidewalks, ball fields, and more.

In Saint Leonard, you will find many developments with five to ten homes sites. Some of these small communities feature homes such as 3br, 2ba ramblers while other communities consist of 6,000+sq. ft. colonial-style homes.

You can find a large range of waterfront homes on St. Leonard Creek, the Patuxent River, Battle Creek, and other smaller tributaries.
