Friendship, Maryland is a small unincorporated town connected by Sansbury Road, Maryland Routes 2, 261, and 778. Maryland Route 778 runs 2.12 miles between MD 2 in Ownings, MD to MD 261 in Friendship. MD 778 was one of the original state roads to be developed by the Maryland State Roads Commission in the early 1900s to better connect trade between Solomons Island, Maryland and Annapolis. When you step into this are of Maryland, you’ll be awestruck by the mostly untouched beauty of the area while walking around Friendship Pond Park.

Rose Haven, Maryland is bordered to the north and east by the Chesapeake Bay, Herring Bay to the West and Calvert County to the south. It is also home to Herrington on the Bay (“Herrington Harbor South”), a water side resort that appeals to clientele of all ages offering kayak and paddleboard rentals, tennis courts, sailing lessons, charter boat trips, restaurant, and outdoor swimming pool. Located near populated cities, Maryland Route 261 connects North Beach to the south with Friendship to the west.
